Adding a IMAP account to Mail when the default is POP

Maybe you know it, maybe you dont, but as soon as Mail finds some information about an account youre trying to set up it finishes it for you. Which is probably pretty cool. But sometimes you and Mail have different opinions on what protocol to use. For example it might fetch the POP3 settings and finish setting up the account when you actually want it to be set ti IMAP, or the other way round. So what do you do?

Go to Mail and start adding an account via File > Add Account. When you are finished entering the info press the option (alt) key when clicking on "Continue". Instead of having the Account set up automatically you get to the same menu which pops up if Mail hadnt known how to set up your account. You can then choose between POP and IMAP and enter your server info manually. Easy as that.
